Winner of the Best New Car Park of the Year at the British Parking Awards as well as an “Oscar’ from Yorkshire Television, this contract for a 450 space multi-storey car park was awarded against very stiff competition.
A difficult sloping site, falling steeply in two directions and with restricted access the design required minimum local disruption within a compact on-site period.
The solution, designed by Hill Cannon, was a pre-cast construction by SCC Ltd which resulted in a saving of 3 months against the original schedule.
