Kings Waterfront is the single largest development site in Liverpool City Centre. A partnership of Liverpool Vision, English Partnerships, Northwest Regional Development Agency and Liverpool City Council the scheme creates a visitor destination of international quality. Combining arena, conference and exhibition facilities with the development of residential, hotel, office, retail, leisure, community and open space uses.
A centrepiece for Capital of Culture celebrations in 2008 the development is at the heart of the regeneration of the historic Albert Dock.
Responsible for the multi-storey car park design, the Hill Cannon scheme provides the shell for a number of retail and commercial areas whilst the challenging structural design incorporates pre-cast ‘pods’ for stairs and lifts.
