The proposed new multi storey car park is a twelve storey structure, with the ground floor mixed commercial/plant and the first floor having the facility to be either car parking or plant/office use.
The form of construction is a precast portal frame format based on a modular layout dictated by the requirements of parking bays and access aisles and comprises a precast reinforced concrete portal frame, columns and beams, giving a clear span across the parking bays which in turn supports a precast reinforced concrete floor deck.
