Serving a new shopping centre in Bangor, this ambitious project, comprises 180,000 sq foot of retail space housing 23 shop units and a 418-space car park and is due to open by Christmas 2007.
Constructed over three storeys the car park is being developed using SCC pre-cast frames to a design that will by-pass and relieve pressure on the local sewer infrastructure. Built over a storm water retention tank, serving the adjacent development, the footprint extends across most of the car park frontage and posed a unique engineering challenge.
